The purpose of this club shall be to promote communal mental and physical well-being through the non-profit instruction of athletics, as well as to encourage friendship and productivity among the youth of the community.
Why should you skate? The activity of rollerblading itself proves infinitely beneficial to your physical health, including improvements to your muscle endurance, balance, as well as overall coordination. However, besides the obvious external advantages, rollerblading also empowers your mental well-being as well, with medical research proving that skating minimizes stress levels and keeps you positive. In fact, rollerblading is ranked among the top 3 activities that help improve/maintain physical and mental fitness! So what are you waiting for? Grab a pair of skates and a helmet, sign-up on our website, and come join us at the Arcadia Park for the ride of a lifetime!
As a skater, it is super important to find the perfect pair of skates that match your personality and potential skill level. For beginning skaters, please head to your local sporting goods store (ex: Big 5, Dick’s Sporting Goods) and communicate with the experts there to purchase your pair of rollerblades/skates. Also don’t forget to bring a helmet!*
*Additional protective gear, including elbow/knee/wrist pads will be provided at the club session.
